Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to StacStart, a tuition-free technology training initiative from Conclase Academy. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the StacStart website (stacstart.us), enrollment in the Foundational Programme, Advanced Apprenticeship Programme, or Momentum Programme, participation in Corporate Training services, and engagement as a hiring partner. By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. For students and applicants located in Canada, these Terms operate alongside, and do not limit, any mandatory consumer protection rights available under applicable federal or provincial law. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of Colorado, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.

3. Programme Enrollment & Costs

3.1 Application & Enrollment

Enrollment in the Foundational Programme, Advanced Apprenticeship Programme, or Momentum Programme is not automatic upon submission of an application. StacStart reviews every application individually and reserves the right to accept, decline, or waitlist any applicant at its sole discretion. Applicants select one programme at the time of application; final placement is confirmed after review, which may include a verification conversation.

3.2 Zero Tuition Policy

There is no tuition cost to enroll in or complete the Foundational Programme, Advanced Apprenticeship Programme, or Momentum Programme. StacStart does not charge fees, require payment plans, or collect payment information from students in connection with these programmes.

3.3 Momentum Programme Incentives

Students enrolled in the Momentum Programme may be eligible to receive incentive payments of up to $2,500, disbursed as programme milestones are completed. Eligibility, amounts, and disbursement schedules are determined by StacStart and may vary by location and continued participation. If a student withdraws from, or is removed from, the Momentum Programme before completing a given milestone, the incentive payment tied to that milestone will not be disbursed. Incentive payments already disbursed for milestones the student has completed are not subject to repayment, provided the student withdrew in good standing and did not violate the Momentum Programme Handbook. StacStart reserves the right to require repayment of incentive funds already disbursed in cases involving fraud, material misrepresentation during application or verification, or failure to meet the minimum participation requirements set out in the Momentum Programme Handbook.

3.4 Corporate Training Fees

Corporate Calendar Training and Enterprise Custom Training are separate, paid services offered to organizations, not individual students. Fees, invoicing, and payment terms for corporate training are set out in a separate service agreement between StacStart and the contracting organization, and are not governed by Section 3.2 above.

4. Withdrawal & Programme Discontinuation

Because the Foundational Programme, Advanced Apprenticeship Programme, and Momentum Programme are tuition-free, no refund policy applies to them. A student may withdraw at any time by notifying StacStart; withdrawal from the Momentum Programme may affect incentive eligibility as described in Section 3.3. Withdrawal or cancellation terms for Corporate Training are governed by the applicable service agreement.

5. Data Privacy & Security

Our collection, use, and protection of personal data are described in the StacStart Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All course materials, video lectures, and training content provided through StacStart are proprietary to Conclase Academy. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or resale of materials is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action under U.S. copyright law. Access to materials is granted for personal educational use only. Certifications referenced throughout StacStart's programmes — including those issued by Microsoft, AWS, Google, Cisco, CompTIA, and Oracle — are issued by those respective organizations, not by StacStart or Conclase Academy; StacStart prepares students for these certifications but does not itself confer them.

7. Job Placement, Mentorship & Hiring Partner Disclaimer

StacStart provides mentorship and job placement support, and maintains relationships with hiring partners, but does not guarantee employment, an interview, or a paid internship upon completion of any programme. Hiring outcomes depend on student performance, hiring partner availability, and market conditions. Participation as a hiring partner does not entitle a company to access any specific candidate, and StacStart does not guarantee that any student will be placed with a hiring partner. A student's information is shared with hiring partners for recruitment purposes only with the student's consent.

8. Corporate Training, Tech Recruiting & Software Development Services

Corporate training contracts require a separate service agreement. Payments for corporate training are non-refundable once training has commenced, except as otherwise agreed in writing. StacStart is not liable for business losses resulting from training outcomes or hiring recommendations. Companies interested in Corporate Calendar Training or Enterprise Custom Training should contact corporate@stacstart.us.

9. Eligibility & Age Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in a StacStart programme independently. Applicants between the ages of 16 and 18 may enroll only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must countersign the enrollment agreement and, where applicable, any documentation related to Momentum Programme incentive payments. StacStart does not accept applicants under the age of 16 into any programme.

10. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms must first be attempted to be resolved through arbitration in Colorado. If resolution is not achieved, legal proceedings must take place in Colorado state or federal courts.

11. Accessibility & ADA Compliance

StacStart is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment and complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Students requiring accommodations should contact admissions@stacstart.us.

12. Amendments & Updates

StacStart reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or website notice.
